Kidshammer is exploring setting up tournaments for high school and middle school students in the DC area. If you are an adult and are interested in assisting with this project, please get in touch using the Contact Us email form.
The general concept is setting up monthly small tournaments (on the scale of Rogue Trader Tournaments, or RTTs) in which players can represent their school in the fall and spring. The format could be tailored to a smaller size game in order to the time and expense to build an army. Painting or other hobby awards could also be incorporated. Space would be rented at community centers or provided by local game stores.
This concept is still in the developmental stage, so if you are interested in helping turn it into a reality, please contact us!
